CONTEST PERIOD

The Anderson Toyota Scion and Lexus of Rockford Grand Opening Sweepstakes (the “Contest”) begins at 6:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on June 17, 2012 and ends at 5:00 p.m. CT on July 27, 2012 (the “Contest Period”).     

ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who reside in Green or Rock counties in the State of Wisconsin or Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Carroll, Ogle, DeKalb, Whiteside, LaSalle or Lee counties in the state of Illinois and who are twenty one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry (the “Entrant” or “Entrants”).  Employees of GateHouse Media, Inc., GateHouse Media Illinois Holdings, Inc. (collectively, “GateHouse Media”), Anderson Toyota Scion and Lexus of Rockford and each of their respective divisions, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (including, in each case, immediate family members or those living in the same household) are not eligible to enter the Contest.  In order to enter the Contest or win the prize, the Entrant must comply fully with these official rules (the “Rules”), and by entering agrees to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of GateHouse Media, whose decisions shall be binding and final in all respects.

HOW TO ENTER

There are two (2) ways to enter:

1. Go to www.rrstar.com/events.  Find the Anderson logo and click on it.  Enter the information requested and click on ‘submit’. 

Or

2. Go to Anderson Toyota Scion and Lexus of Rockford located at 4100 North Perryville Road, Loves Park.   Fill out the entry form and deposit the completed form into the entry box at this location.

CONTEST RULES

1. All entries will be entered into a random drawing. 

2.  The Entry deadline is 5:00 p.m. CT on July 27, 2012.   Entry Forms will not be accepted after this time.

3.  A weekly drawing will be held at 3:00 p.m. CT on July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27 and a grand prize drawing will be held at 9:00 a.m. CT on July 30, 2012.

4.  GateHouse Media assumes no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, or incomplete entries.

5.  Entering is limited to ten (10) times a day.   You may enter at the Anderson Toyota Scion and Lexus of Rockford location once (1) a day.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF THE WINNER

Complete Entry Forms for the grand prize will be entered in a random drawing (the “Drawing”) to be held on July 30, 2012. A weekly drawing will be held at 3:00 p.m. CT on July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, 2012.  A grand prize drawing will be held at 9:00 a.m. CT on July 30, 2012.

Drawings will be conducted at the offices of the Publication and one (1) winner will be selected. 

Winners will be notified by phone and/or overnight letter on or around July 30, 2012.  If both methods fail after one (1) week, GateHouse Media will select an alternate winner. 

The potential prize winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release in order to be eligible to accept the prize.   In the event a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, GateHouse Media may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries

Odds of winning depend on the total eligible entries received and how the entries meet the criteria established for this Contest.  Decisions of GateHouse Media regarding the Contest are final.

PRIZES

Four (4) Weekly prize (one per week) will be awarded in the Contest and one (1) grand prize will be awarded.  The prizes are:

• Week 1 (July 6) –one (1) pair of Magic Waters Season passes (approximate value:  $460.00)
• Week 2 (July 13) – RiverHawks Party for 50 people on their Diamond Deck (includes pizza and two (2) beers per person)  the date is Thursday, August 16, 2012  (approximate value:  $1000.00).  Parking fee of $2.00 is the responsibility of the guest.
• Week 3 (July 20) – One year Peak Sports Club membership and Peak Sportswear approximate value:  $1,400.00)
• Week 4 (July 27) – Valli Produce gift certificate ($500 value)
• Grand Prize (July 27) – A year’s worth of gas from Kelley’s Market/Kelley Williamson Mobil ($4,000 value)

No substitution or transfer of the prize will be allowed, except at the sole discretion of GateHouse Media.  GateHouse Media reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.  All local, state and federal taxes incurred by accepting a prize will be the sole responsibility of the prize winner.   The prize has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash at any time.  No compensation will be given for lost or expired gift certificates.  The gift certificates may have expiration dates and use of such gift certificates may include restrictions.  Fulfillment of the gift certificates are the sole responsibility of the merchant, not GateHouse Media. 

CONDITIONS

By entering, Entrants agree to comply with these Rules and the decisions of GateHouse Media, which are binding and final, and release GateHouse Media, and each of its divisions, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone associated with the production of this Contest, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, losses or damages (including attorneys fees) of any kind arising out of their participation in this Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize. The potential prize winner waives the right to assert as a cost of winning the prize any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem said prize and waives any liability or claims (including attorneys fees) which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem said prize. In the event of non-compliance with these Official Rules, or if prize notification is returned to GateHouse Media as undeliverable, if prize is refused or cannot be accepted for any reason, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing. Upon forfeiture or refusal, no compensation will be given. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name, photograph, likeness and/or statements attributed to winner regarding the Contest, for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation or consent.  All entries become the property of GateHouse Media.  This Contest shall only be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the state of Illinois, without regard to the principles of conflicts of laws and submission of any entry constitutes acceptance of such laws.  This Contest is void where prohibited.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

This Contest is not intended for gambling.  If it is determined that an Entrant is using the Contest for gambling purposes, he/she will be disqualified and reported to authorities. 

GateHouse Media and its affiliates reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on Entrants obtained through the Contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

GateHouse Media reserves the right to change the rules of the Contest at any time.
