CONTEST TERMS
The Old Settlers Day Ticket Giveaway Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 6:00 a.m. Central Time on May 11, 2012 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Central Time on May 25, 2012.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who reside in Green or Rock counties in the State of Wisconsin or Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Carroll, Ogle, DeKalb, Whiteside, LaSalle or Lee counties in the state of Illinois and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of January 1, 2012. Employees of GateHouse Media, Inc., GateHouse Media Illinois Holdings, Inc. (collectively, “GateHouse Media”), Old Settler’s Day Organization, Rockton Lion’s Club and each of their respective divisions, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (including immediate family members or those living in the same household) are not eligible to enter the Contest.
HOW TO ENTER & CONTEST RULES

Entrants should go to www.rrstar.com, follow the Old Settler’s Day Ticket Giveaway contest icon to the submission page, complete all the required information and follow all instructions. Submit your entry by clicking the appropriate key. A random drawing will be held of all eligible entries.
You may enter the Sweepstakes as often as you like but only one (1) prize per person. Enter as often as you like provided that multiple entries by means of software generated or other automated processes will be disregarded.
Rockford Register Star, GateHouse MediaCo., Inc., Old Settlers Day organization (collectively referred to as Sponsor) will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, post-due, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the email account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an email account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such email account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such email account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an email account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.

Odds of winning depend on the total eligible entries received. Decisions of GateHouse Media regarding the Contest are final.
PRIZES
One (1) prize grand prize winner will be awarded two (2) VIP passes to see Montgomery Gentry on June 8th at Old Settlers Days (approximate retail value is $50.00). Three (3) other contests winners will receive one (1) pair of tickets to each concert for all four (4) days. (approximate retail value is $50.00).
The potential prize winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release in order to be eligible to accept the prize. No substitution or transfer of the prize will be allowed, except at the sole discretion of GateHouse Media. GateHouse Media reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. All local, state and federal taxes incurred by accepting a prize will be the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The prize has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash at any time.
CONDITIONS
By entering, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules and the decisions of GateHouse Media, which are binding and final, and release GateHouse Media, and each of its divisions, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone associated with the production of this Contest, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, losses or damages (including attorneys fees) of any kind arising out of their participation in this Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize. The potential prize winner waives the right to assert as a cost of winning the prize any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem said prize and waives any liability or claims (including attorneys fees) which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem said prize. In the event of non-compliance with these Official Rules, or if prize notification is returned to GateHouse Media as undeliverable, if prize is refused or cannot be accepted for any reason, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing. Upon forfeiture or refusal, no compensation will be given. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name, photograph, likeness and/or statements attributed to winner regarding the Contest, for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation or consent. All entries become the property of GateHouse Media. This Contest shall only be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the states of Illinois and Wisconsin, without regard to the principles of conflicts of laws and submission of any entry constitutes acceptance of such laws. This Contest is void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
